AcuGraph 5.3.0.7 software update with 5 powerful new features

AcuGraph 5.3.0.7

Today we released a new AcuGraph update —version 5.3.0.7— and we couldn’t be more excited to tell you about it!

This AcuGraph release is the culmination of a great deal of feedback, hard work, time and innovation, so we hope that you’ll find the changes intuitive and useful. (We think you will!) In this post, we’ll go over the 5 biggest and most exciting new software changes.

But First, Update!

To get started with these new features, you’ll need to download the latest version of AcuGraph 5.

If AcuGraph doesn’t immediately prompt you to update the next time you open the program, try going to the ‘Help’ menu at the top of your screen. Click ‘Check for update’ at the bottom of the menu. The software should then prompt you to install the latest version. Go ahead and go through the installation process, and you’ll be ready to start using these new features!

If you’re not yet an AcuGraph user, you can learn about AcuGraph here.

5 Powerful New Features

1. Anatomical Reference Images

AcuGraph now includes an anatomical reference image that will help you more precisely locate the acupuncture points. You can access this anatomical reference by clicking on the “anatomy” button below the image.

To learn more about this feature and watch a short demonstration video, head over to the anatomical reference images blog post, here.

2. Global Record Search

AcuGraph now includes the option to conduct a global search within the patient records section. The search will sift through all content within patient records to find keywords or phrases. Imagine searching for the words “neck pain” and finding every reference to neck pain you’ve ever recorded! This will allow you to look up patients and interactions even if you have forgotten the patient’s name, or the date of their last visit— simply by searching for a detail, a condition, or a word you know you would have included in their records.

3. Home Care Tab Changes

In the home care tab, all treatment recommendations will now be viewable in one conclusive list. Additionally, practitioners can add custom home care treatment recommendations using a new notes section within the home care tab.

To learn more about changes to the home care tab, head over to the Home Care Tab Changes blog post, here.

4. Patient Location Indication Screen

Within a patient’s file, previous versions of AcuGraph have allowed practitioners to make visual representations of areas on the patient’s body that are experiencing symptoms. The latest update expands upon that feature by numbering the marked areas and opening up a special comment field that will allow practitioners to leave notes explaining the symptoms in the marked areas.

To learn more about changes to the patient location indication screen, head over to the Patient Location Screen blog post, here.

5. Treatment Plan Notes

Within a patient’s treatment plan, you now have the ability to leave treatment notes specific to the plan. You can also create retrievable note templates that can be used again and again when the same note applies to multiple patients or situations.

To learn more about leaving notes in treatment plans, head to the Treatment Plan Notes blog post, here.
