Treatment Plan Notes

In this post, we’ll look at a new addition to AcuGraph—treatment plan notes. You can read on in this post, or watch the short video below, to learn all about it!

Within a patient’s treatment plan, you now have the ability to leave treatment notes specific to the plan. You can also create retrievable note templates that can be used again and again when the same note applies to multiple patients or situations.

Let’s practice! We’ll start by going into our patient list, selecting Robin Hood as our patient and then opening his file. Click on Robin Hood’s most recent treatment plan, and it will open in the treatment plan viewer.

Adding a Treatment Plan Note

The viewer has always been an excellent resource—allowing you to see the points used in a given treatment. But now, you have the added option of writing a custom note inside the plan.

You can type whatever you’d like to type in the comment field. Basic formatting controls like bold and italics, color, lists and font size are available so that you can truly customize your note!

Additionally, we’ve added a functionality for creating treatment note templates, so that you can reuse your most common notes again and again as they become relevant, without having to type them out more than once.

Be sure to click ‘save’ each time you write a note or create a template! When you do, the note will appear immediately below the treatment plan on the right side of the patient record.

Treatment Plan Notes

When you’re finished editing your treatment plan note, you can click on the ‘Tx points‘ icon to go back to the regular treatment plan view.
