Home Care Tab Changes

In this post, we’ll discuss some important changes to the Home Care tab in the latest AcuGraph release. You can read on, or watch the video below to start learning!

To illustrate these changes, let’s take a look at this recent graph for Count Dracula. As you can see below, there are four points in Dracula’s treatment plan, and two of those points have been marked for treatment at home. Additionally, we’ve recommended some herbs for Dracula in the herbs tab, and some dietary advice in the food tab. Finally, in the custom tab, we’ve added in a custom treatment to help round things out.

With the changes in this latest release, all of these Home Care recommendations will now be displayed together in the Home Care tab in one easy-to-see view.

On the right side of the screen you’ll see all of Dracula’s herbal and dietary recommendations, followed by the custom treatment recommendation—a 15 minute walk each day—and finally, the acupuncture points that the patient should treat at home.

On the left side of the screen, we can also add a custom home care note into the ‘home care instructions’ field. We can type additional information into the box, like clarifications, reminders, or additional Home Care instructions.

Home Care tab note templates

Finally, we’ve also added a template system into the Home Care notes. So, if you find yourself often recommending the same practices, you can create your own template and add it to the instructions by clicking the ‘Add to Note’ icon whenever it’s relevant to your patient.

After all, couldn’t we ALL benefit from more sleep, more movement, and a short meditation? I know I could…
