  • Clarified Graph Legends to reduce potential confusion when looking at some graph types
  • Improved HIPAA-Compliant Email Performance

Read on to learn more about these updates!

The Windows Version of AcuGraph is Now HiDPI-Aware

The term “HiDPI,” (High Dots Per Inch) also known as “Retina,” essentially means that a screen has a high resolution in a relatively small format. Many Apple computers have had this Retina Display feature for years, and AcuGraph has been compatible with Retina Displays on Apple Computers.

Now, with version 5.3.2.7, AcuGraph will be compatible with windows computers that utilize HiDPI technology. What does this mean for you? Essentially, if you have a Windows Computer with HiDPI, your AcuGraph software will now appear sharper, crisper, and easier on the eyes.

Probe Connection Interruption Issue Resolved

Recently we identified a problem with the AcuGraph Probe Connection being affected by high levels of EMF (electro-magnetic fields) emitted from motorized, adjustable treatment tables. Occasionally, when the table was in operation or the AcuGraph cables were close to the motor, the motor’s EMF would cause a disruption to the probe, and it would disconnect. Crazy, huh? Since tracking down and identifying the source of the disruption, we have now programmed the software to gracefully recover from interruption and continue the exam.

Clarified Graph Legends

We have clarified some icons and colors on certain graph legends to reduce confusion. On some graph views like 5 Elements and Horary, the legends were altered or removed.

Improved Email Performance

Recently, we experienced an unfortunate issue stemming from our HIPAA-compliant email provider. They had an issue with their system that caused duplicates of emails to be sent. Sometimes hundreds of copies of the same email were sent. Because the issue was on their end, we couldn’t do anything to stop it from happening and it ended up being quite an ordeal.

Though they have resolved that issue, we have built a control into AcuGraph that will allow us to pause emailing capabilities for all users in case of future incidents. This will ensure that our users will never be at the mercy of someone else’s broken system again.
