Editor’s Note: This post references Auriculo 3D, now replaced by Auriculo 360. The clinical concepts discussed remain applicable to current practice.
Do you know stuff? I’m sure you do!
As practitioners, we all need a ready store of knowledge for quick retrieval and use when treating patients. And no doubt, you’ve got an awful lot of that kind of stuff in your head. Probably so much, in fact, that some has leaked out. That’s what happens to me from time to time.
Auriculotherapy, especially, can tax the memory of the best of us–with hundreds of points located on the ear, together with phases, areas, and obscure locations–well, it’s a challenge.
This was brought home to me a couple of weeks ago when I was at the International Auriculotherapy Symposium in Baltimore. I was at our booth, demonstrating Auriculo 3D, and while I was demonstrating, I was projecting the software on the wall. Nothing like a 6-foot ear to impress the crowds!
