  1. Hi Dr. Larsen – I was wondering if you could tell me whose Auricular Medicine system you used when you designed your software? I have taken an extensive program with Dr. Li-Chun Huang and Dr. William Huang, and learned their system, however in doing so, I also learned that there is a “French” system and a “German” system, and likely others. Some of the point locations are different between these systems – which is the basis for my inquiry. Thanks for your help!

    1. Hi Dr. Phillips,

Auriculo features both European and Chinese points. Each is marked as such. I know there are a number of systems out there of varying complexity, and we will likely incorporate a broad array of information from the various systems as we continue to update the software.

      Thanks!

  2. Hi,Adrian,
There are may be as often as not some differences between localizations of auric.points. It is mostly seeming contradiction: 1, Sometimes pretty important the three-phase auricular points, depending on progress of pathological process. At the sametime may exist 1.-2. even 3.phase projections of one organ.(Soliman’s Auricular Therapy Textbook- AuthorHouse 2008
2a, For examlpe: in fossa triangularis projected the ankle by Nogier, and the uterus by Chineses on the same place. It can be explaned: if I stimulate the ankle in fossa triang.,via SP6 I can stimulate
the uterus too. We can making its impact onto the uterus by stimulating the acupoint SP 6 via ankle point projection in fossa triang.
2b, In some topographic charte uterus placed on projection of hypophysis. By FHS it is possible to making its impact onto uterus functions.
3, May be big differences between shapes of auricules, and the points are dislocate.
There is impossible imaginate correct auriculotherapie without auriculodiagnosis.

In 1986 I studid auriculomedicine in Sant Petersburg at Prof.Dr. Bogdanov Nikolaj Nikolajevich for a month. Prof. Bogdanov who has searhing earreflexotherapie more then 40 years, constructed a very good instrument, like your AcuGraph, but he measures on auric.projections. (2X12 points.)
