This error occurs when the AcuGraph software has been installed, but the hardware drivers have not been installed. This situation can be prevented by following the installation instructions in your manual and not plugging in the probe until instructed to do so in the installation section of the user manual.
To correct this problem, simply install the hardware drivers for your AcuGraph probe.
To install the hardware drivers, plug the probe into your computer's USB port and follow the directions, specific to your version of Windows® , found in the user manual. Some general tips are as follows:
Once the probe has been plugged in, Windows® will normally announce that it has found new hardware and ask if you want to install drivers. The drivers are located on your installation CD, or on your hard drive at: C:-->Program Files-->AcuGraph 4-->drivers (If you have a 64 bit machine, you will need to go to C:-->Program Files(x86)-->AcuGraph 4-->drivers). You may need to inform Windows® where to locate the drivers. Once Windows® has been directed to the location of the drivers, installation takes only seconds, and your AcuGraph system will be ready to use.
If your computer fails to detect the probe as new hardware when you first plug the probe into your USB port, please contact Miridia Technical Support for detailed driver installation instructions.
