That sounds a little awkward coming from me, doesn&#8217;t it<a href=\"http:\/\/www.miridiatech.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/Bright-Idea-620x480.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-5617\" title=\"Bright-Idea-620x480\" src=\"http:\/\/www.miridiatech.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/Bright-Idea-620x480.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"250\" height=\"436\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.miridiatech.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/Bright-Idea-620x480.jpg 250w, https:\/\/www.miridiatech.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/05\/Bright-Idea-620x480-172x300.jpg 172w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 250px) 100vw, 250px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Let me give you a little history. The <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.acugraph.com\/upgrade\/\">AcuGraph<\/a><\/span> has been around for a long time. You can&#8217;t stay around as long as we have without continuing to upgrade. Actually, we keep a master list of requests that come in from our users with suggestions for continued improvements. One of the best things about investing in AcuGraph is the continual improvements.<\/p>\n<p>Okay\u2014so everyone knows that I really do LOVE the AcuGraph. I just have &#8220;one, tiny little pet peeve&#8221; that I&#8217;m anxious to resolve someday soon. First, I&#8217;ll explain my pet peeve&#8211;and THEN I&#8217;ll share my ingenious idea of how I get around the problem(until we release a version of AcuGraph that includes this feature).<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #ff0000; font-size: large;\"><strong>Kimberly&#8217;s Pet Peeve:<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>The ability to e-mail a report to the patient is wonderful. I just wish that a couple of things could change:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The report comes from &#8220;Do Not Reply&#8221; and sometimes winds up in my patient&#8217;s junk folder.<\/li>\n<li>Because it comes from &#8220;Do Not Reply,&#8221; my patient can&#8217;t respond to the email to ask me a question or set up an appointment.<\/li>\n<li>I&#8217;d love to add a little personal note from me, to my patient, when I send the report.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #ff0000; font-size: large;\"><strong>Emailing reports to your Patients:<\/strong><span style=\"color: #000000; font-size: small;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>I was chatting with a customer on the phone the other day. She called because she wanted a little guidance sending her first email report through AcuGraph. I walked her through the steps&#8230;<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>After you complete an exam, click on &#8220;Print&#8221; in the lower right corner.<\/li>\n<li>Select what information you want to include in the emailed report.<\/li>\n<li>Click on email.<\/li>\n<li>Enter the email address of the person that you want to send the report to.<\/li>\n<li>Click &#8220;Also send a copy to me at this address.&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>Add in your own email address into the second box.<\/li>\n<li>Finally, click on &#8220;Email.&#8221;<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>I wanted her to see what the report looked like in her own email. She couldn&#8217;t find the report because her computer saw it as spam and hid it in the darkest little corner abyss of her computer <em>somewhere<\/em>. So\u2014I sent her a report from my AcuGraph.\u00a0 She couldn&#8217;t find that one either.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #008000; font-size: large;\"><strong>Then my ingenious idea came to fruition!\u00a0 Are you ready for it???<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: large; color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Ingenious Idea:\u00a0<\/strong><\/span>I took the report that I had copied to myself and forwarded it to her\u2014with a little personal note attached! She received it right away. This is great because I can easily get around all the problems with sending the report directly to the patient:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The report comes from me, so it lands right in my patient&#8217;s inbox.<\/li>\n<li>My patient can simply reply to the e-mail to ask me a question or set up an appointment.<\/li>\n<li>I can add a little note or special instructions in the email that goes directly to my patient.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Summary:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Emailing reports has not changed in AcuGraph, yet. If you send a report directly to your patient, it will come from &#8220;Do Not Reply&#8221; as normal, and you will not be able to add a personal note.<\/li>\n<li><strong>BUT\u2014<\/strong>if you email a report to yourself, and <strong>THEN<\/strong> forward it to your patient&#8211;<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">you can add anything you want to it<\/span>, and it opens the channels of communication with the patient!!!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Isn&#8217;t it exciting when an ingenious idea accidentally falls into your lap?! As always, we are continually seeking to improve our products year after year. This is my little workaround for the time being, but you can count on seeing improvements in this area in the future.
