If no prompt appears, click on the&nbsp;<\/em><strong><em>\u2018Help\u2019&nbsp;<\/em><\/strong><em>button at the top of your screen, and select&nbsp;<\/em><strong><em>\u2018Check for Update\u2019. <\/em><\/strong><em>Go through the installation process, and you\u2019ll be ready to start using these new features!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Watch the video below and follow along in this post to learn about custom treatment recommendations!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Custom Treatments &#8211; Watch and Learn!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-vimeo wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-vimeo wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/348260659?dnt=1&amp;app_id=122963\" width=\"740\" height=\"416\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; fullscreen; picture-in-picture; clipboard-write\"><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Categories<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To start, click on the &#8216;<strong>Reference<\/strong>&#8216; section (the icon looks like a little book.) Next, click on the &#8216;<strong>Custom Tx<\/strong>&#8216; tab. Here, you can set up custom treatments that AcuGraph will recommend in future sessions, based on the parameters you set up (we&#8217;ll show you how!)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"3239\" height=\"2145\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.miridiatech.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/custom-tx.jpg?fit=740%2C490&amp;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-23494\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.miridiatech.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/custom-tx.jpg 3239w, https:\/\/www.miridiatech.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/custom-tx-300x199.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.miridiatech.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/custom-tx-768x509.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.miridiatech.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/custom-tx-1024x678.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 3239px) 100vw, 3239px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><em>You can use categories in any way you want&#8211;for any special treatments that you often use. <\/em>You could create a nutritional category, or a massage category; a category for homeopathic remedies, herbs, essentials oils, home care, exercise, etc. <strong>The options are endless!<\/strong> This feature was designed specifically to help you tailor your treatment recommendations to your unique style and skillset. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>First, click on &#8216;<strong>Add New<\/strong>&#8216; and then choose &#8216;<strong>Category<\/strong>.&#8217; Then, give the category a name. Now, you can begin adding items to your category. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Recommendations<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Within your newly created category, you can now create a recommendation. <\/strong>For instance, using our example from the video above, if your category was &#8220;Essential Oils,&#8221; a recommendation might be &#8220;Peppermint Oil.&#8221; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After you&#8217;ve created your first recommendation, if you look slightly to the right, you should see three horizontal bars: &#8216;<strong>Type<\/strong>,&#8217; &#8216;<strong>Title<\/strong>,&#8217; and &#8216;<strong>Category<\/strong>.&#8217; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"3225\" height=\"2160\" src=\"https:\/\/i2.wp.com\/www.miridiatech.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/3-bars.jpg?fit=740%2C496&amp;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-23495\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.miridiatech.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/3-bars.jpg 3225w, https:\/\/www.miridiatech.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/3-bars-300x201.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.miridiatech.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/3-bars-768x514.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.miridiatech.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/3-bars-1024x686.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 3225px) 100vw, 3225px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Continuing with our example, the title would be <strong>&#8216;Peppermint Oil,&#8217;<\/strong> the category would be <strong>&#8216;Essential Oils&#8217;<\/strong> and the type should say<strong> &#8216;Graph Dependent.&#8217;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Setting Graph Parameters<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Graph Dependent means that the peppermint oil recommendation will be made only if the patients graph fits a certain set of parameters, which you set. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Just below the category bar, you should see the &#8216;<strong>Conditions<\/strong>&#8216; section, which has boxes you can check for different conditions within the meridians. In this example, we&#8217;ll check GB excess and GB split. <strong>Now, if either one of those conditions is present on the patient&#8217;s graph, the peppermint oil recommendation will become applicable.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After you&#8217;ve ticked the appropriate condition boxes, now you can add some text in the &#8216;<strong>Description<\/strong>&#8216; field that explains the custom recommendation. This text will be shown when you choose to include this recommendation in future treatment plans. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"686\" src=\"https:\/\/www.miridiatech.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/save-1024x686.jpg\" alt=\"custom treatments \" class=\"wp-image-23496\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.miridiatech.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/save-1024x686.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.miridiatech.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/save-300x201.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.miridiatech.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/save-768x514.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you&#8217;ve selected the type, title and category for your recommendation and given it a set of conditions and a description, you&#8217;re ready to save it. <strong>Hit the small &#8216;save&#8217; icon in the bottom right corner of the screen.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can repeat this process to add as many categories and subsequent recommendations as you see fit<em>; just make sure to hit save when you finish each one<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">General Recommendations<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you create a recommendation that is in the general type rather than graph dependent, you simply won&#8217;t need to select any of the graph conditions. <strong>These recommendations will always show up in the &#8216;Custom&#8217; tab, and you can choose to select them, or not to select them, based on your diagnosis. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"678\" src=\"https:\/\/www.miridiatech.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/Graph-Icon-1024x678.jpg\" alt=\"custom treatments in AcuGraph Software Release\" class=\"wp-image-23497\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.miridiatech.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/Graph-Icon-1024x678.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.miridiatech.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/Graph-Icon-300x199.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.miridiatech.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/Graph-Icon-768x509.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you&#8217;re satisfied with your new categories and recommendations, you can test them out by pulling up the records of an existing or example patient, or graph a new patient. From there, go the <strong>&#8216;Custom&#8217;<\/strong> recommendations tab. <strong>Listed below the graph, you should see all of your general recommendations, and all of the graph dependent recommendations that fit the graph in question. <\/strong>You can tell the graph dependent suggestions apart because of the little graph icons display next to them. You can select as many recommendations as you see fit&#8211;or none at all.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Patient Report<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Finally, you can view the patient&#8217;s report within the &#8216;<strong>Summary<\/strong>&#8216; tab. Check the <strong>&#8216;Custom Recommendations&#8217;<\/strong> box and scroll down. <strong>The custom recommendations that you chose will be included right there in the take-home report.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/www.miridiatech.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/report-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"custom treatments\" class=\"wp-image-23498\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.miridiatech.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/report-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.miridiatech.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/report-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.miridiatech.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/report-768x512.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>If you take the time to build out a library of custom recommendations that fit your practice and treatment techniques, <em>you will find it simple and easy to add custom treatments to patients&#8217; plans with just a couple of clicks of your mouse.<\/em> We hope that this exciting new feature helps tailor AcuGraph&#8217;s software to your unique practice needs, and <strong>adds value to your practice.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Download the Latest Version of AcuGraph 5<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>As ever,&nbsp;<strong>these updates and improvements are driven by requests, feedback and suggestions from you&nbsp;<\/strong>\u2014our users. If you need to update your software, AcuGraph will tell you as well.&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>For AcuGraph to run most effectively, it needs to be running the latest version.
