What\u2019s the scariest purchase you\u2019ve ever made? I still remember mine. I was still in school, and I<\/strong> maxed out my credit card buying 20 lasers.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seems a strange move for a poor student, doesn\u2019t it?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here\u2019s what happened. I had recently been introduced to laser acupuncture, and I was hooked. I mean, I was absolutely in LOVE<\/strong> with the idea that I could treat points painlessly, quickly, and effectively with nothing but LIGHT! It seemed more like magic than acupuncture. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Somehow, some way, I HAD to have a laser.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Trouble is, back in those days, lasers were pretty expensive. Especially for a student. So I contacted the laser company and tried to work out a deal. I learned that if I bought 20 lasers, I could get a MUCH better price. All I needed was 19 other people to go in with me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So I asked a couple of friends and got some interest, but not nearly the 19 that I needed. I almost gave up my dream, but the light wouldn\u2019t leave me alone. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Finally, I resolved to do it anyway. I took a deep breath, pulled out my credit card, and maxed it out, hoping like crazy I could sell the rest of the lasers\u2026to someone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What Happened?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Well, the story has a happy ending. And a happier one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first good news is that it took me less than a week to sell all the lasers.<\/strong> Once other students began using them, more students wanted them too. And all were glad to have the lower price I had negotiated. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The even better news is that this episode began my lifelong passion for providing top-quality lasers to other acupuncturists. That was in 2002, and since then, I\u2019ve designed and sold thousands of lasers.<\/strong> I still hear from users all the time how much they, and their patients, love the ease, convenience, comfort and effectiveness of laser acupuncture. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now and then, I reflect on that first leap of faith, and wonder what might have happened if I had let my fear decide my future. Like anyone, I\u2019ve made plenty of wrong decisions in my life. I\u2019m glad I got that one right!
