To do so, open your AcuGraph 5 software. A prompt should automatically appear encouraging you to update the latest version of AcuGraph 5. Next, click the &#8216;<em>location<\/em>&#8216; tab. This tab is used to <strong>indicate locations on a patient&#8217;s body that are in pain, or have some other symptom or condition to note, describe and track.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text alignwide\"><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"640\" src=\"https:\/\/www.miridiatech.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Screen-Shot-2019-03-19-at-12.54.04-PM-1024x640.png\" alt=\"patient location indication screen\" class=\"wp-image-23037\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.miridiatech.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Screen-Shot-2019-03-19-at-12.54.04-PM-1024x640.png 1024w, https:\/\/www.miridiatech.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Screen-Shot-2019-03-19-at-12.54.04-PM-300x188.png 300w, https:\/\/www.miridiatech.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Screen-Shot-2019-03-19-at-12.54.04-PM-768x480.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p> For purposes of this demonstration, we&#8217;ll mark this patient&#8217;s left shoulder and right toes, and the middle of the back of his neck. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As we mark these locations, red dots appear on the patient\u2014and, in the latest release, <strong>numbers also appear. Locations are numbered in the order that they are marked. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, below the picture, a numbered list will appear with a field for inputting comments. <strong>The numbers in the list match the numbers of indicated areas on the picture. <\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Enhanced Note-Taking Ability<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In each of the numbered comments, <strong>you can input a note<\/strong> describing the reason you marked the area above. For example, in the first comment field, we&#8217;ll say that Huck Finn is experiencing pain in his left shoulder when lifting groceries. Next, we&#8217;ll write that he has pain in his toes after soccer practice. Finally, we&#8217;ll record that his neck has been stiff in the mornings. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text alignwide has-media-on-the-right\"><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"640\" src=\"https:\/\/www.miridiatech.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Screen-Shot-2019-03-19-at-12.56.31-PM-1024x640.png\" alt=\"patient location indication screen history\" class=\"wp-image-23038\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.miridiatech.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Screen-Shot-2019-03-19-at-12.56.31-PM-1024x640.png 1024w, https:\/\/www.miridiatech.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Screen-Shot-2019-03-19-at-12.56.31-PM-300x188.png 300w, https:\/\/www.miridiatech.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Screen-Shot-2019-03-19-at-12.56.31-PM-768x480.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p>If you need to mark any additional areas, you can do so easily by clicking on the affected area, and then filling in the new comment field generated below. <strong>You can add as many locations as you need\u2014the numbered list will simply continue to grow!  <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you can&#8217;t remember exactly why you indicated an area, you can click on the red dot, and the comment you left will be highlighted in the list below. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Once we&#8217;re finished, it&#8217;s important to<strong> hit the &#8216;save&#8217; icon below and to the right of the comment field<\/strong>. After we hit &#8216;save,&#8217; a small thumbnail image will appear in our patient&#8217;s records.
