    Sun Puddles<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    I live in Idaho. It gets pretty cold here in the winter. It’s normal in the winter for patients to come in with tight, rigid muscles<\/strong>, sadness<\/strong> and depression<\/strong> from the weather, not to mention all the typical cold and flu symptoms that come with winter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    I have this little wellness trick I’ve been teaching my patients for years. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    I teach them to look for “sun puddles” every day!<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    Have you ever heard of a “sun puddle?” Here’s how it works. Look for places in your house where the sun seeps in.<\/strong> Sometimes it will be in a nice chunk near the window on one end of the couch, possibly in a back bedroom mid-morning or afternoon, or on a special chair near the kitchen window. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    If you can’t find a special favorite spot in your house, you might need to be creative. Watch where the sun shines in the window. Perhaps there is a stream of light that beams across the floor in your living room. If you have a cat or a dog\u2014follow them around. They are great at finding sun puddles!<\/strong>

    Once you find one, sit in it. Bask in in it.<\/strong> Close your eyes, pretend you are on a warm sandy beach or laying in the grass on a perfect summer day. Soak up the warmth. Smile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The far-infrared light which radiates from the sun is healing. The light relaxes the muscles, increases vitamin D production, and makes you happy. We all need some of that happiness every day!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Then Came Jade Vitality<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    The first prototype for the Jade Vitality mat showed up at Miridia Technology in the dead of winter. It was COLD outside.<\/strong> I was so excited to try out the heating pad and see if it lived up to my expectations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    As I laid on the mat, closed my eyes and felt the warmth\u2014my body sunk in and relaxed.<\/strong> I felt my my muscles melt. I closed my eyes and went away to a faraway wonderful healing place. A smile came across my face\u2014and the light bulb went on. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Long before the first prototype of the Jade Vitality showed up in our office, we did a lot of research about the pad’s components, and their effects.
