\"upgradeImportant Announcement Follows–but first, an update:<\/span><\/b><\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n

Back in September 2017, we celebrated two years since AcuGraph 5 was released. And what a two years it’s been! We’ve had over 30 software updates, including major new features and compatibility with 3 new computer operating systems. We had another major software release in December 2017 as well.<\/p>\n

As AcuGraph continually gets better, we have maintained our highest standards for service and support for AcuGraph 5 users\u2014all while significantly reducing the service and support costs for ALL users!<\/b><\/p>\n

We are proud to announce today that we will maintain these lower costs for existing users for 2018 as well!<\/b><\/p>\n

However, all the news we have today isn’t so good.\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n

With increasing frequency, we are getting calls from practitioners who have been using AcuGraph 4 (or even AcuGraph 3!) for many, many years. They call with great news, they’re ready to upgrade to AcuGraph 5! This is wonderful for us and it’s wonderful for them and their practices\u2014but it’s not so wonderful for our technical support staff!<\/p>\n

When users are that far out of date, it sometimes takes hours for us to get their data moved over and updated for AcuGraph 5. This upgrade time commitment is really taking a toll on our support staff, and degrades support availability for everyone else.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Also\u2014since the release of AcuGraph 5, we’ve allowed users of previous versions to upgrade at no charge by simply initiating a service and support agreement. In essence, the AcuGraph 5 software has been free to users of prior versions. So it turns out the upgrade situations costing the most in technical support are not offsetting the costs they incur. This situation needs to be addressed.<\/p>\n

Instead of increasing the service and support fees a little bit for everyone, we think it’s more appropriate to start charging a one-time software and activation fee for those users who are actually incurring the expense. This means the new AcuGraph 5 software will no longer be free to users of previous versions.<\/p>\n

So, here’s the bad news.<\/b> If you haven’t yet upgraded to AcuGraph 5, there will be a one-time additional software and activation<\/strong> fee assessed at the time of upgrade to cover these additional costs.<\/p>\n

So, how much is it going to cost?<\/b>\u00a0The AcuGraph 5 Software and Activation fee will be $300<\/strong> for all new AcuGraph 5 accounts. This is in addition to the service and support agreement, and it will apply to all users who are\u00a0upgrading to AcuGraph 5 from a prior version.<\/p>\n

Now we realize some users have been putting off the upgrade, secure in the knowledge they could get it at no extra cost whenever it became convenient. We didn’t want to pull the rug out from under any of our users, so we waited 2 years<\/strong><\/em> before requiring the additional software and activation fee, and sent out countless emails and information about the additional cost before it went into effect.<\/p>\n

The Cost to Upgrade<\/h2>\n

Effective January 3, 2018, the cost to upgrade to AcuGraph 5 from a prior version of AcuGraph is either\u00a0$795<\/span> or $995<\/span>, depending on whether you choose the Professional or Enterprise service and support plan.<\/strong><\/p>\n

I desperately<\/b><\/i>\u00a0want you to utilize all of the game-changing features we’ve added to AcuGraph 5, so I’m hoping you’ll see the value in upgrading now instead of waiting any longer at all! I hope you’ll take advantage of the incredible opportunities you have with AcuGraph 5 to be a better healer.<\/p>\n
