Over the past weekend members of my staff and I had the amazing opportunity to travel to Rockville, Maryland to put on the first-ever Acupuncture Technology Symposium.<\/u> <\/strong><\/a><\/span>We had a wonderful experience and a great time interacting with each other as colleagues and friends.<\/span><\/p>\n

I want to share some highlights with you from the weekend.<\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n

This symposium has been in the works for months, and to see the weekend turn out so well fills me with gratitude.<\/p>\n

Getting There<\/h1>\n

\"acupunctureFive members of the Miridia Technology staff hauled 15 pieces of luggage from Boise to Baltimore. We brought top-notch video equipment to record the entire symposium (for our Enterprise AcuGraph subscribers)<\/b>, as well as product to demonstrate, and of course, our personal luggage.<\/span><\/p>\n

Besides just getting TO Rockville, we spent a whole \"acupunctureday setting up. We\u00a0did lots of grocery shopping to provide healthy, delicious snacks for the attendees. Cameron and I spent the day setting up the recording equipment for the Symposium. When we finish\u00a0producing the recordings, they will be available to our AcuGraph Enterprise subscribers. Cameron is the General Manager of Miridia Technology, and also my younger brother. I’m so glad to have him as part of the Miridia team.<\/p>\n

Presentations\/Demos<\/h1>\n

Our goal for the Symposium was to help our customers fill their practices,<\/b> communicate healing<\/b> and treat at a new level.\u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

I feel we accomplished this goal.\u00a0<\/b>\"acupuncture<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Kimberly Thompson, L.Ac., Deb Davies, L.Ac., Jake Fratkin, OMD, L.Ac., and I taught all facets of acupuncture technology from the latest research to in-depth meridian balancing, specific non-needle acupuncture techniques, auriculotherapy, pregnancy-specific acupuncture and AcuGraph software training.<\/p>\n

The topics we addressed will propel our attendees toward successful practices, more effective and faster healing, and most importantly, more treatment skills and options.\"acupuncture\"acupuncture\"acupuncture<\/p>\n

Connections<\/h1>\n

\"acupuncturePerhaps my favorite part of the whole Symposium was the chance everyone had to make connections and form relationships with other attendees and the instructors. In such a niche industry, having connections and friends, in my opinion, is vitally important.<\/span><\/p>\n

CE Credits<\/h1>\n

All attendees at the Acupuncture Technology Symposium received 20 CE Credits from NCCAOM, Florida (CE Broker) and California. With 3 full days of training, this weekend was filled with valuable information that practitioners can easily\u00a0incorporate into their practices.<\/span><\/p>\n

Next Year?<\/h1>\n

To those who attended the Acupuncture Technology Symposium last weekend, thank you! It was a resounding success, and I’m very grateful to you all.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

For those who did not attend this year, frankly, you missed out. We are looking at the possibility of hosting another symposium in 2018 and would encourage you to consider attending as our plans become more finalized.<\/p>\n
