Here’s something cool…At our last big acupuncture convention in Florida (FSOMA) we brought these “little” Acupuncture Stickers with us to the booth\u2013and it was a BIG<\/strong> hit. Everyone wanted one. Before I talk about what I\u00a0did, let me tell you why I\u00a0did it… You are probably in the same position I was!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

So, here’s the story…<\/p>\n

I go to a number of shows every year, and I’m always looking for something that can help me stand-out. The problem is, there are SO many things out there that are distractions. Everywhere I look someone or something is trying to get my attention. Little of it works.<\/p>\n

This was a real challenge. What can I do to stand-out a little bit more? How can I get someone to ask about the services I’m offering?<\/p>\n

Well, these are the same questions you should be asking yourself for your practice. What can you do to stand out a little bit? How can you get someone to ask about you? Even better, how can you create an opportunity for your clients to comfortably tell other people about you? That’s the holy grail, isn’t it?<\/p>\n

Your patients and potential patients are attacked from every angle, literally, with someone trying to sell something all the time.<\/p>\n

How do you get through to them?
\n<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Well, let me tell you what I did, it’ll work for you too.\u00a0<\/strong>\"acupuncture<\/p>\n

Lilly, my 13 year-old daughter, has been\u00a0begging to go on\u00a0a business trip with me. So I finally gave in and agreed to\u00a0bring her to\u00a0FSOMA with the agreement that she had to WORK hard. However, I needed to give her something to do that she really could help with. This was a challenge.<\/p>\n

I decided to do something radical. I spent a fortune (of Adrian’s money \ud83d\ude09 ) on a custom sticker I wanted to have for my practice. He agreed to give it a try, so we ordered and received\u00a0some simple custom acupuncture stickers that say:\u00a0I \u2665\ufe0e Acupuncture<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

Lilly’s job was to smile at people at the booth, and offer to give them an acupuncture sticker\u00a0while I was demonstrating\u00a0AcuGraph. Not only did she agree, but she took her job VERY\u00a0seriously.\u00a0Little did we know that her “hard work” would be so much FUN and that she’d be such a BIG hit!<\/p>\n

She put acupuncture stickers on EVERYONE\u00a0at the event\u2013then told them to head on over to the AcuGraph booth to buy 100 more stickers to take home to their clinic. Here was her tagline:<\/p>\n

“My mom gives all of her patients one of these stickers when they leave her clinic, and she has a LOT of patients.”<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Did everyone love the acupuncture stickers? Of course they did! Did other people see the stickers while walking around the show? YES! Did they ask about them? ABSOLUTELY! Lilly was a little marketing magnet, even though she didn’t even do much of the marketing work at all!<\/strong> <\/span>Did people come to the booth and\u00a0want to buy stickers<\/a><\/span> to give to their patients? You bet. As the stickers grabbed their attention, they also work at grabbing the attention in public of other people who are interested in acupuncture.<\/p>\n

And, at only 10 cents per sticker, it’s cheaper than the needles you used for their treatment!!!\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

I’ve heard feedback from many practitioners since the show.\u00a0Practitioners are giving them to patients, using them for marketing events, and wearing them around town themselves. You know what happens? These acupuncture stickers create an opportunity for a conversation…<\/p>\n

\"Acupuncture<\/a>Don’t let these “little stickers”<\/a><\/span> fool ya! They might be small, but they throw a a mighty big\u00a0punch<\/em>. Every time I wear one, people randomly stop me and say\u00a0things like:<\/p>\n

“Hey, I love acupuncture too!”<\/span><\/p>\n

“I’ve always wanted to try acupuncture.”<\/span><\/p>\n

“Who is your acupuncturist?”<\/span><\/p>\n

“Do you know a good acupuncturist?”<\/span><\/p>\n

This happens at the coffee shop, at the grocery story, at the bank, at the park, and even at church socials!<\/p>\n

The best part is, you don’t need to have a cute 13-year-old girl to head your marketing campaign. \u00a0You can simply\u00a0share stickers with your patients.<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>They’ll become your marketing army, with opportunities all over the place to talk about you and how you help them. Like other practitioners who have started doing this, your new referral patients are going to explode!<\/p>\n
