There were top-name international speakers, outstanding presentations, and the latest products and tools for auriculotherapy. Congratulations to everyone who put so much work into organizing this event!<\/p>\n<h4>I was particularly pleased to see the most up-and-coming trend in auriculotherapy technology. You&#8217;ll never guess what it was!<\/h4>\n<p>OK, if you know me or you&#8217;re aware of my work, you probably already guessed. It&#8217;s 3D. As in three-dimensional ear modeling. That&#8217;s right. The two-dimensional, flat charts just aren&#8217;t good enough anymore, now that computer technology makes live, real-time 3D technology so available.<\/p>\n<p>I watched Dr. Terry Oleson&#8217;s excellent presentation on the 3D model he&#8217;s been building. In case you didn&#8217;t know, his <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Auriculotherapy-Manual-Chinese-Western-Acupuncture\/dp\/0702035726\/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&amp;qid=1401551629\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fourth Edition Auriculotherapy Manual<\/a><\/span> is now available and it includes 3D renderings of ears for better point visualization. He&#8217;s done a great job.<\/p>\n<p>Winfried Wojak from Germany also presented a proposal for a 3D system to precisely localize auricular acupoints.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.auriculo3d.com\/index.php\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-14006\" src=\"http:\/\/www.miridiatech.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/Screen-Shot-2014-05-31-at-10.30.48-AM.png\" alt=\"Screen Shot 2014-05-31 at 10.30.48 AM\" width=\"300\" height=\"578\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.miridiatech.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/Screen-Shot-2014-05-31-at-10.30.48-AM.png 389w, https:\/\/www.miridiatech.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/Screen-Shot-2014-05-31-at-10.30.48-AM-155x300.png 155w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>Me?
