Her doctor scheduled her for a biopsy of the pancreas next week but told her that she needed to get her blood pressure down before he could do the procedure.<\/p>\n<p>She asked if acupuncture could help. My answer was &#8220;YES.&#8221; We scheduled her for two visits before her procedure so that we could work on lowering her blood pressure.<\/p>\n<p>This morning she called me again\u2026 \u201cThey have an opening for me to get in for the biopsy today at 12:30. Do you think you can get the blood pressure down before then? Right now it is 200\/100. It needs to be below 150.\u201d It was 9:00 in the morning when she called.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>I told her to come right over, and I would give it my best shot.<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><strong>Treatment:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I was so happy to have <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.auriculo3d.com\/index.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Auriculo 3D<\/a><\/span>\u00a0available to me. No need to search a lot of books to find the perfect auricular points for her treatment. I do have a ton of books, but for this situation, I had very little time to prepare.<\/p>\n<p>Instead, I simply looked up the protocol for hypertension in <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.auriculo3d.com\/index.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Auriculo 3D<\/a><\/span>\u00a0and treated the active points. A couple of body points were added to help calm her down: HT 7, CV 17, and Yin Tang. She was at my office for about 45 minutes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Adjunct treatment: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I rubbed her feet some while she sat with the needles to help calm her down. Also, in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.auriculo3d.com\/index.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">Auriculo 3D<\/span><\/a> program it says that the apex of the ear can be pricked and bled to reduce high blood pressure, so I did that too once the needles were pulled. About 4 drops of blood were released from each ear.<\/p>\n<p><strong>And the results were??? <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Great! Her daughter sent me a text this afternoon to tell me that her blood pressure went down and they were able to do the procedure. When she arrived at the doctor\u2019s office her blood pressure was 135\/90 and when she left after the procedure it was 113\/65.
