Why?<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Reports give valuable information. New patients would come into my office because they were fascinated with Acupuncture. After I was done with their TCM evaluation it was time to give them a diagnosis.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Liver Qi Stagnation<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Spleen Qi Deficiency<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Liver\/Kidney Yang Deficiency<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Phlegm Damp Obstructing the Channels<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Lung Yin Deficiency<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Etc.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">They would look at me with that confused look and say, <strong>&#8220;What does that mean???&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">I&#8217;d spend the next 15-20 minutes TRYING to explain TCM pattern diagnosis. Acupuncture terminology can be confusing.<strong> Sometimes it&#8217;s even confusing to me as a practitioner.<\/strong> You can imagine how confusing it can be for the patient.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">AcuGraph makes diagnostic explanations really simple. Patients no longer look at me with their head tilted in confusion when I explain their diagnosis.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-11824 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/www.miridiatech.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/Confused-woman16.jpg\" alt=\"Confused-woman16\" width=\"345\" height=\"307\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.miridiatech.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/Confused-woman16.jpg 345w, https:\/\/www.miridiatech.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/Confused-woman16-300x266.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 345px) 100vw, 345px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>After graphing the patient, I send them home with a report of findings\u2014which includes a general list of the types of symptoms that MAY occur because of imbalances showing in the graph analysis.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Patients love it<\/strong><\/span>&#8211;because it&#8217;s terminology they can relate to.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>I love it<\/strong><\/span>&#8211;because it allows me to spend more time treating my patient instead of <em>lecturing<\/em> on TCM.<\/p>\n<p>When we released AcuGraph 4, we changed the terminology in the graphing report. It was my job to write it up in a language that was easy to understand, yet informative. Deficient energy in this meridian may be associated with the following symptoms:<\/address>\n<ul>\n<li>Anxiet<em>y, emotional disorders;<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Palpitations;<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Disorders of the tongue, throat, face, or complexion;<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Expressionless face;<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Inability to speak;<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Weakness, cramping, pain, swelling or stiffness of the arm, breast, chest or navel.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<address><strong>EMOTION:<\/strong> An imbalance in the Heart Meridian may be associated with feelings of heartache, lack of joy, or long-standing emotional problems.<\/address>\n<address><strong>SPINAL ASSOCIATION:<\/strong> Imbalances in this meridian may be associated with subluxation at the T1, T2, T3, T4, and\/or T5 level(s).<\/address>\n<address style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">\u00a0<\/address>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>SPLEEN (High)<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<address>The Spleen Meridian works in conjunction with the Stomach Meridian to assimilate energy from food through digestion. The Spleen Meridian also affects the pancreas, blood formation, hormones, and saliva. It nourishes the lips and tongue and controls the muscles and the four limbs.<\/address>\n<address>Your Spleen Meridian energy is excessive. Excessive energy in this meridian may be associated with the following symptoms:<\/address>\n<ul>\n<li>Bloatin<em>g, gas, poor appetite, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, colic, distention <\/em>and<em> pain in the abdomen;<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Chest congestion, phlegm;<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Difficult urination, thick vaginal discharge, menstrual disorders, genital disorders;<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Heaviness in the body, weakness of the muscles and limbs;<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Cramping, pain, swelling or stiffness of the inner leg, genitals, ribs or mid-back.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<address><strong>EMOTION:<\/strong> An imbalance in the Spleen Meridian may be associated with obsessive feelings, overthinking and worry.<\/address>\n<address><strong>SPINAL ASSOCIATION:<\/strong> Imbalances in this meridian may be associated with subluxation at the T1, T5, T6, T7, T8 and\/or T9 level(s).<\/address>\n<address style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">\u00a0<\/address>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>LIVER (High)<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<address>The Liver Meridian controls the blood volume and regulates menstruation, bile secretion and energy flow throughout the body. It nourishes tendons, ligaments and cartilage. It also contributes to the body&#8217;s resistance to pathogens.<\/address>\n<address>Your Liver Meridian energy is excessive. Excessive energy in this meridian may be associated with the following symptoms:<\/address>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Menstrual disorders: heavy painful periods, menstrual clots, PMS, breast distention;<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Digestive disorders: belching, nausea, vomiting, abdominal distention, diarrhea, bitter taste, jaundice, inability to digest fats, and feeling of a lump in the throat;<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Tendon and ligament disorders: stiffness, rigidity and pain of the joints, tremors <\/em>and<em> convulsions, rib pain, dark purple nails;<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Eyes: red, burning, twitching, watery or painful;<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Seminal emissions, ejaculatory disorders, priapism, impotence, swollen testicles;<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Cramping, pain, swelling or stiffness of the foot, leg, genitalia, abdomen, ribs, chest, throat, eye, face, or head.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<address><strong>EMOTION:<\/strong> The Liver Meridian influences the ability to courageously plan life, finding a sense of direction with creativity and inspiration. An imbalance in the Liver Meridian may manifest in frustration, depression, repressed anger, rage, tension, irritability, lack of direction, or mental confusion.<\/address>\n<address><strong>SPINAL ASSOCIATION:<\/strong> Imbalances in this meridian may be associated with subluxation at the T2, T5, T6, T7, T8, and\/or T9 level(s).<\/address>\n<address style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">\u00a0<\/address>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #800000;\"><strong>BLADDER (High)<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<address>The Bladder Meridian functions with the Kidney Meridian to regulate water metabolism and excretion.<\/address>\n<address>Your Bladder Meridian energy is excessive. Excessive energy in this meridian may be associated with the following symptoms:<\/address>\n<ul>\n<li>Lo<em>w back pain, inability to raise the arm at the shoulder, stiffness or pulled muscles in the shoulder, strained muscles in the clavicle, occipital headaches, knee disorders;<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Urinary or bowel disorders, hemorrhoids, rectal prolapse;<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Cramping, pain, swelling or stiffness of the eye, nose, head, face, neck, shoulder, back, buttock, sacrum, leg, or foot.<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<address><strong>EMOTION:<\/strong> An imbalance in the Bladder Meridian may be associated with feelings of jealousy or suspicion, and holding of long-standing grudges.<\/address>\n<address><strong>SPINAL ASSOCIATION:<\/strong> Imbalances in this meridian may be associated with subluxation at the L5, SI and\/or S2 level(s).<\/address>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #008000;\">\u00a0<span style=\"font-size: large;\">*****<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>What do you think?
